Refer to the section
"Blogs - Add, Edit, and Delete" for more information on how to compose a blog entry that you wish to add to the blog site. This section specifically addresses how to insert an image into a blog entry that you are currently composing.
There are two ways to include an image as you compose your blog:
a. Use the
Image icon on the Editor's toolbar.
b. Use the
Upload Images section of the
Add New Post page.
EditUsing the Image Icon on the Editor's Toolbar
1. Click on Add New Post in the Welcome box on the right of BlogSuite's home page.
2. The "Add New Post" page will appear. Type your blog in the Post: editor.
3. To insert an image at the location of the cursor in the editor, click on the icon that looks like a picture on the Editor's toolbar.

4. The
Inser/edit image window will appear.

4a. Image URL: Enter the location of the image you wish to insert.
4b. Image Description: Enter a description of the image, if desired.
4c. Title: Enter a title for the image. This title will appear when the reader mouses over the image.
4d. Preview: This area will show the image you specified to upload.
4e. Click on the "Appearance" and "Advanced" tabs to enter more values, if desired.
4f. Click on Insert to insert the image as part of your blog. Click on Cancel to discard your changes for the image.

Edit Using the Upload Images Section of the Add New Post Page
1. Click on Add New Post in the Welcome box on the right of BlogSuite's home page.
2. The "Add New Post" page will appear. Type your blog in the Post: editor.
3. Scroll down to the
Upload Images section of the
Add New Post page.

3a. Upload Images: Type in a name of an image file that you wish to upload for your blog entry. Or click on the Browse button to bring up a file selection window to find the image file on your computer or network.
- You can specify up to 5 images at a time to upload.
- .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG file formats are recommended.
3b. UPLOAD Button: Click on this button to upload the images into the Add New Post page. You will see an Image list appear below the UPLOAD button:

3c. Click in the Post editor where in your blog you would like the image to appear.
3d. Click on the Add button for that image in the Image list to insert it into the blog at the selected location.
3e. To make the image float to the left or right of the blog text:
- a. Click on the image in the editor.
- b. Click on either the Left Align or Right Align icon in the editor's menu bar.

3f. To remove the image from the Image list, click on the DELETE icon for that image. This will not remove the image from the blog.
