To add comments to blogs for others to view and respond to.

Overview

Once a blog is posted and viewable on the blog site, comments can be added by the reader. However, not all readers will have the ability to post a comment. You can post a comment if you have a user account with the blog site. Your user account is created in one of the following ways:

- The blog site’s administrator has created an account for you.

- You registered for an account on the blog site. To register, click on the “Register” link on any of the blog site’s web pages. The link will appear on the banner, at the top of the page. Refer to the section “Register for an Account” for more information on registering.

If “Moderate comments” is enabled on the blog site, any newly added comments will not be viewable until they are reviewed and approved by the moderator. Refer to the section “Moderate New Comments” for more information on moderating comments.

Select a Blog to View

1. Find the blog you wish to add a comment to in one of the following ways:
- Viewing the blog entries on the BlogSuite home page under Latest Posts ; or
- Click on a name in theBlog Roll box on BlogSuite's home page; or
- Select from the Archive Folders box (displayed when you select from Blogroll); or
- Select from the Recent Posts box (displayed when you select from Blogroll); or
- Select a date from the Calendar box (displayed when you select from Blogroll).

2. Click on the title of the blog that you wish to view.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page if you wish to add a comment.

Values are required for input fields with an asterisk "*".

4. * Name and * Email: Both are automatically filled in with your account information. You can change the values, if desired.

5. URL: Enter your web site address, if desired.

6. * Comment: Type your comment in this text box regrading the blog entry.

7. Enter the code shown: Fill in the security code shown above this input field.

8. Click on POST COMMENT to submit your comment to the blog site.

NOTE: If this blog site has Moderate Comments activated, the comment will not be viewable on the blog site until it has been approved by the moderator.

How to View the Comment

Select a blog to view as explained above.

Scroll to the end of the blog text, where you will see any comments that have been posted for that blog:
